Hi Nicol,

Does the audio game maker allow you to make a game where the player choose
options from a menu?
*quote end*
Yes, that can be done. There is no standard "menu"-building block, but you
can make menu's with some clever use of message blocks. However, you might
not even need "standard" menu's when you can have a menu where each item is
a soundsource placed somewhere in a space. Connect each one to a portal
building block and you can create a menu that is spaced in ..err.. space.
Audio Game Maker first and foremost focuses on building blocks with which
you can create *gameplay*. It is being developed in a very short time so
that is why this has priority. Therefore, things like "save games" and
"intro menu's" have been pushed to the back of the production. First and
foremost we would like people to be able to create fun games/gameplay with
Audio Game Maker, instead of people being able to create wonderful menu's
but no games.

does the audio game maker allow you to have a speaker test function which
the player can use to ensure his speakers are correct?
*quote end*
Sure, you simply play a soundfile with a voice saying "left" (panned left)
and "right" (panned right) using the Message building block
(http://www.audiogamemaker.com/manual/building_blocks.html#message) at the
beginning of a game.
Greets,
Richard
